The Best Language Academy in Los Angeles

Study and Improve your English skills In HOLLYWOOD! LACC's Language Academy can assist you in achieving your goals. We offer three levels: Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced and each level consists of 2 modules.

LACC offers two 6-week sessions in Fall and Spring, and an 8-week Summer Intensive. English classes follow the Los Angeles City College campus schedule and focus on listening, pronunciation, reading, and writing. Students completing the language program will demonstrate the ability to:

• Understand written and spoken college level academic materials
• Establish effective note taking skills
• Write academic papers that meet college standards
• Develop critical thinking skills

Affordable

LACC's Language Academy is affordable.

• Each language module costs $1,200 to complete or take two modules for $2,200.
• Fields Trips, Learning Materials, and Testing are included in the cost.

Levels

Our Language Academy consists of three levels:

• Level 1 - Basic.
• Level 2 - Intermediate.
• Level 3 - Advanced. Each Level is comprised of Two Modules.
• Spring & Fall: Modules take six weeks to complete. Summer Intensive: Eight weeks to complete two modules.

Location

Located on the campus of LA City College, we are in the center of Hollywood. We offer small teacher to student ratios that allow for intimate intensive English Language instruction and a variety of programs tailored to your needs.

Housing

Because of our central location LACC can offer affordable housing options for students. Weekly Rate: 0 Meals =  $245. Weekly Rate: 3 meals/7 days = $310. 

Application Deadline Dates

LACC Language Academy accepts international student applications for Fall, Spring and Summer sessions. Our sessions follow the LACC academic calendar.

2022-23 Session Dates & Tuition Costs

iTEP/TOEFL Test Prep

Students that have applied to U.S. University but just missed the English Proficiency score needed to obtain admission can apply to participate in our iTEP Test Prep program at LACC. Students can obtain the skills and confidence they need in 4-6 weeks to retake and improve their iTEP/TOEFL Test scores. Our Bridge program is offered entirely online, no I-20 or visa needed to participate in our program.
