Our degree and certificate programs include accounting, art, advertising design, computer graphics, automotive, business administration, management, entrepreneurship, broadcasting, computer information systems, computer science, dance, digital music production, economics, electronics, engineering, entertainment industry management, kinesiology, fashion design and merchandising, fire technology, child development, international business, journalism, library technology, marketing, music, nutrition, occupational therapy, pharmacy, psychology, television/video communications, theater arts, and much more. 

2+2 Degree Program (University Course Transfers) 

The 2+2 degree program is a pathway to attaining a bachelor’s degree by attending the first two years at a community college for an Associate of Arts or Science (AA/AS) degree and then transferring (+ 2 years) to a four-year university for a bachelor's degree. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the 2+2 degree program to earn the dual degrees – AA/AS degree + BA/BS degree.

After having completed Santa Ana College’s AA/AS degree program and meeting the transfer requirements, students can make an easier transition to complete a bachelor’s degree at the University of California’s ten universities including UC Irvine, UC Los Angeles, UC Berkeley; the California State University’s twenty-three universities including CSU Fullerton, CSU Long Beach; and Stanford University and many other top colleges and universities across the United States.

English Made Easy 

Our English Language Program is an intensive English as a Second Language program where students increase their English proficiency before beginning college classes. One application admits you to our English Language Academy and guarantees admission to the Santa Ana College. 

The English Language Program, which is both TOEFL-preparatory and academically oriented, conducts sessions throughout the year – in February, June, and August. Each session consists of 24 hours per week of instruction. Begin College credit classes with a TOEFL score of 450 (PBT). 

Short Term Program

Santa Ana College offers a variety of short term programs for junior high and high school students, outside of the United States, who want to learn more about the American academic environment and culture. Participants will have an opportunity to take various American themed classes, such as American art, music, sports, history and culture. 

Short term programs also cater to the working professional and provide a refreshing experience with networking opportunities in various professional fields. Short-term programs run every year in the spring, summer and winter, in lengths of 7-28 days. Specially tailored short-term programs can also be arranged for certain groups and organizations.

International Student Programs and Services 

The International Student Program provides a full range of programs and services to help international students adjust culturally and academically to life in the United States, thus, making Santa Ana College a home away from home. Services include assistance with admissions and registration, housing and transportation, immigration, among others. Academic and personal counseling is also available. 

Student Life

To experience the fullest rewards of college life, students can participate in a wide variety of clubs, service organizations, and student government as well as compete in intercollegiate athletics. The Student Activities Office sponsors many educational, social programs and campus activities and services for student life. 

The International Student Association (ISA)​ is one of the most exciting student organizations on campus. The ISA promotes cross-cultural exchanges that provide the basis for long-lasting friendships. Barbecues, beach parties, dances, out-of-town trips, and cultural highlights such as the annual International Festival are just some of the many activities held throughout the year. All these make it impossible to feel left out at Santa Ana College.
